Time goes by fast when your having fun! The Samu's have been driving this car for 39 years!

In 1970 Rich was following up on a '57 T-Bird that he could not find, so instead he came home with this '36. He commuted with this car driving the 65 mile per hour speed limit on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. Rich thinks he started to get his gray hair at 20 years old as a result of the mechanical brakes!!

Time went on, and he married his Karen driving the same car and then moved into a house with the car as well. Years later, after their daughter was born they would tie the baby seat into the back seat with rope!

Now the car may look stock, with the Chevy engine installed, but Rich also did a body off, frame build up on a budget. They used a wrecked Monte Carlo they got for free, and the work began. With a Mustang front end and a Granada rear, the car drives great.

There is more to tell, as this car has been a solid part of their lives.

It has been a good 39 years driving our '36 Ford.Rich hopes he and Karen enjoy many more years with each other and their Hot Rods too!
