Len & Betty Laufer's 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe

The Laufer's purchased this slick '40 Ford Deluxe Coupe in '93, and this driven, NOT TRAILERED ride is loaded with goodies! Read on:

The fuel injected 383 CI Small block Chevy engine sits in front of a 5 speed Richmond tranny.

The rear end is a '57 Chevy with 8 3/4 Mopar Posi with a 31 spline.

The exhaust is 2 1/2" aluminumized stainless steel with Magna Flow mufflers.

The modifed '40 Ford frame sits on a straight axle in the front and transverse leaf springs with ladder bars in the rear.

The custom leather and ultrasuede bucket seats are 6 way power and heated and the rear seat is a custom sculptured bench.

Additionally, the car contains AC, heat and a defroster as well as power steering with a modified original column.

The car stops with electric / hydraulic brakes.

The power windows work via the custom stock looking crank switches.

The hidden power antennae delivers the radio signal to the custom hidden sound system.

Electric wipers with intermittance, delayed off interior lighting, and a full gauge package with a shift light finish off the interior.

Th headlamps are halogen while the running, turn signals, and brake lights are LED's with strobe effects.
